Meet Vee

Hi, I’m Vee, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the therapist behind MirrorRoomTherapy by Vee.

For more than 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, and families through many different seasons of life. Through all of those experiences, one thing has remained true. People want to feel heard, understood, connected, and safe enough to be themselves.

My journey into this work actually began with communication. I earned my undergraduate degree in Journalism and Communication before completing my Master’s degree in Social Work. Looking back, the two have always gone hand in hand for me. So much of what happens within us and in our relationships comes down to communication. What we say, what we don’t say, what we hear, and sometimes what we are afraid to say.

Before moving more deeply into clinical work, I spent many years working with the Department of Children and Families, supporting children and families through difficult and complex circumstances. I have also worked as a medical social worker, walking alongside individuals and families navigating illness, grief, caregiving, loss, and unexpected life changes.

All of those experiences have shaped the way I show up as a therapist today.
